All staff members are AACCA certified and bring a wealth of experience from many different styles and backgrounds. Spirit Xpress staff will help you stay up- to-date on cutting edge skills, safety rules and techniques in this ever-changing sport! The Spirit Xpress Staff is selected from top collegiate squads and some of the country’s most competitive all- star programs. Every staff member completes comprehensive instructor training emphasizing safety as well as mastery of the Spirit Xpress teaching method. This provides our staff the tools to effectively reach your cheerleaders, while emphasizing safety, progressions and correct technique. As an added bonus to our residential campers, our full- time staff is on hand to help lead sessions at these flagship camps. Come learn cutting edge cheerleading from the industry leaders first hand! Don Collins - Former college coach and 3-time National Champion, currently one of the most sought after award winning choreographers, 28 years experience. Mark Lyczkowski - Former UNC Cheer Coach & current coach of UNC Chapel Hill Dance Team, 23 years experience. Dennis Worley - Former NC HS State Champion Coach, NCCCA Coach of the Year, member of the United States All Star Federation Rules Committee, 22 years experience. Brown Walters - Current UNC Chapel Hill Cheer Coach, 18 years experience. Pat Wedge - 2-Time National Partner Stunt Champion, Internationally acclaimed stunting & tumbling coach, 3 years with Spirit Xpress, 26 years experience.
